Thread: Tonight?

    Tonight?

Is anyone heading out tonight to Pleasant for some stripers? I’m thinking of taking my girlfriend and her (2) daughters, need to get them out of the house...My girlfriends 17 year old son passed away last week and we had his funeral on Friday, sure could use some quiet time on the water to clear the heads...Let me know if you’re planning on heading out and maybe we can link up with you, I haven’t really done a night trip for stripers...Thanks, Tim

I don’t have Facebook...I’ll wing it, just getting out in the water should be fun enough

Find them on depth finder and chum . Keep chumming . Use 8lb fc. Some times i use drop shot and some times hook on the end and a split shot about 12in above. They have been catching them up around the entrance to the river. Good luck.

Have fun Tim, be careful at night the county is way behind on getting reefs and rocks marked with buoys lake is dropping real fast. Bite in the morning has been good for surface and now the spoon bite has picked up a lot, just above the no ski buoys.

Well we went and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening...It wasn’t really about the fishing, it’s about clearing the soul for a few hours...We swam at night with the green lights lighting up the water, so much fun...It was good to see my girlfriend and her youngest smile for a change...This past 2 weeks has been a whirlwind and there was so much planning that went into his funeral...We left the lake at around 12:30 am with the little snoozing on the boat...Definitely needed this lake trip...Didn’t catch any fish but had a few bites...Thanks for those that responded...Tim
