Stripers 2-17

I haven't been posting striper trips regularly like I should be doing.

Found my lucky fishing hat so I HAD to get a trip going. Texted Tom AKA Evilmonkey and off we went...

Decent bite after dark. Had about 25 or 30 in the ice chest before the dinks and bait stealers moved in about 11pm...


Set my alarm for 0430 but said f*** it and didn't get up till almost 6. Bite was on until the wind shifted at about 8:45.


Our haul for the trip, about 90 in the blue cooler...


Took us about 3 hours to get them all cleaned up and bagged. Lots of fish guts for the compost pile...

Way to go Eric. Ive seen that sleeping bag before. Im going to look into mushroom growing also.Compost pile is filling up this spring. Do they sell kits or what?

It's been like this almost every trip this fall / winter. Somewhere between 40 and 80 fish.
