Yes sir you are correct. Mine is the 45 ACP however that 357 Sig is a damn good caliber and for a lot of people, easier to handle than the 45 ACP.

I own one of those along with 3 other Kimber's and none of them will touch the Sig for accuracy. Truth be told one of the other Kimbers I own I will never shoot and it's still sitting new in the box. it is a Kimber Custom Classic Carry Pro

This SIG P220 sport is by far and away the most accurate semi-auto handgun I own however as you can see it's not Something you would want to carry....... that is unless you are the FBI agent in the movie RED.

i get that, but unless you are a competitive shooter, the accuracy of a handgun is not really an issue. most gun fights are at arms length more or less. I just want to be confident that one or two go down the pipe when i need them to. Hundreds of rounds through my kimber without issue. I'm totally confident in that weapon.

I would agree with that however I can definitely see a situation where you might want to be able to hit something accurately from let's say 15 to 20 feet away. If the gun functioning is you're sole concerned then a wheel gun would probably be the best choice. I will say confidence in your firearm and time spent shooting it is the best investment you can make.
