Wow!
Was there today. She's full and spilling.
Sad news. RIP Del and prayers for the family.
did he forge the blade?
isn't that called a spook? or something like that?
Was at a music festival at Hidden Lake this weekend. Seen some bass boats on there. I didn't even know about this lake. Is it any good? Probably private and expensive?
As a kid me and my cousins would go catch a bunch of carp. Our grandmother would grind up the cleaned fish, bones and all, and make fried fish cakes out of them...as a 9 year old, I thought they were...
Yep, and unleaded gas is pushing $3.00 down here in the Dirty T.
yeah you do...i would try to find one in a thrift store or yard sale. even the "pre-seasoned" ones that are new are not really non-stick. this here one was my mom's and is probably 50 years old....
Been awhile since I posted here, but these here chicken thighs and green beans came out really good...3930
it's pretty shallow out from the ramp, just two or three feet right now until you get out to the main lake area and that is just 15-20 feet right now on average. there may be some deeper water over...
Lake is low. Dock is sitting on dry ground. Was barely able to launch and recover my tracker style boat, but if you're running a glass boat, be very careful.
yep. 1 bad breaker. both replaced, working like a champ!
So I was on the lake when a thunderstorm started rolling in with some lightning. cranked up the TM to high to get back to the dock. was just cruising along when the motor just quit. I've had it do...
Holy crap...Had a similar experience on Rosy way back in the day...probably 1975 or 76. Just not the crowded ramp part lol.
I had the same issue a couple years back. turned out to be bad fuel lines.
I guess I'm gonna have to try Pena. Vaca has been really tough. only 4 in the boat, biggest being a little over 2. water is still stained but clearing and the weeds are really coming on. water is...
hearing rumor of big fish being caught at 'Vaca. going tomorrow to confirm.
LOL. I was thinking, wow, this dude can sing. WTF is he doing with this tiger thing...turns out he is lip syncing to a band he hired to play his songs...Milli-Vanilli hahaha
lake is open and it looks like camping is allowed, no signs or anything out of the ordinary in that regard. Crappers are still open. fished from 11:30 to 4:30. Only one hook up that got off right at...
down here in SOAZ, Arivaca is open. buddy was there yesterday. fishing was slow, 4 fish in the boat in the 2-3lb range. Patagonia is open but packed with RV'ers. not sure about Pena Blanca or Parker...
Rooting for the Chiefs, but I think the Niner's will probably win. I don't think the KC defense can stop the SF run game. Scoring is not a problem for KC, but their D has to step it up for them to...
that figures...hope they leave vaca alone. the last decent fishin' hole that don't cost an arm and a leg to use (not that $8 is that much, but still...)
Drove down to Arivaca today not expecting too much in the way of a bite and was correct. On the water at 10am and off at about 1:30pm. the lake is full and spilling slightly. water is stained with...
